During the holidays if doing the 70th tour at Disneyland, what nighttime spectacular will be included with a reserved area since the paint the night parade will be paused?

Welcome back to planDisney, Kimberly! There’s something extra special about visiting Disneyland Resort during the holidays , when the air feels a little crisper, the lights twinkle a little brighter, and Main Street glows under a canopy of garland and snowfall. Pair that with A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour, and you’re in for an experience that truly captures the heart of the season. I’m happy to help you unwrap the details of what’s included during this festive offering.

After speaking with a helpful Cast Member named Rosanna through the Disneyland Help line, I learned that the nighttime spectacular included with the 70th Anniversary Tour will be either A Christmas Fantasy Parade or Believe… In Holiday Magic Fireworks Spectacular. At this time, Disneyland hasn’t officially confirmed which experience will be featured, but Rosanna recommended checking back closer to your tour date for the most up-to-date information.

If the reserved viewing area is for A Christmas Fantasy Parade, you’ll find it in Town Square Plaza, across from the steps of the Disneyland Railroad Main Street Station. While the area doesn’t include seating, you’ll still enjoy a wonderful view of the holiday procession, complete with dancing gingerbread men, toy soldiers, and, of course, Santa Claus himself waving from his sleigh. A quick Q-Tip: even with reserved space, arriving a little early helps you choose a comfortable spot before the parade begins.

However, if the tour includes viewing for Believe… In Holiday Magic, you’re in for an equally enchanting treat. The viewing location is the best spot to capture snowfall drifting down over Main Street, the castle shimmering with icy-blue lights, and a stirring soundtrack that’s guaranteed to warm your heart (even on a chilly winter’s night). From this location, you can also catch the evening’s parade beforehand, creating one seamless, merry experience.

Kimberly, no matter which spectacular ends up being part of your tour, you’re sure to be surrounded by the magic that makes the Disneyland holidays unforgettable: twinkling décor, familiar carols, and the cozy joy that only Disney can create.

Wishing you a holiday visit filled with wonder, warmth, and a little snowfall of your own,
    David
