During the construction at the Fire Hall on Main Street, are guests still able to go to Walt's apartment on the "Walt's Main Street Story" tour?

Welcome to planDisney, Janine! I see you're set to arrive at the Disneyland Resort in about a week! Time flies, I bet you are counting down the days. I love that you're hoping to experience Walt's Main Street Story Tour, I hear it is a wonderful tour where you'll learn many things about Main Street, U.S.A.! I had to do a little digging and have some information that I hope helps you plan your trip.

The Walt's Main Street Story tour includes a visit to Walt's apartment above the Fire Station in Town Square. After speaking to a cast member, it is my understanding that, yes, the visit to Walt's apartment still is the culmination of the event, even during construction. However, they also remind us that all events are subject to change or cancellation without notice, as stated in the terms when you reserve your spot. There are reservations available as of today for the week of your arrival, so I recommend that you check it out soon to grab your spot. Cancellation is 24 hours in advance and a credit card is reserved for booking.

The weekend of your visit, beginning March 1, the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival begins, so if you are staying the weekend, I recommend hopping over to try all the limited time food and beverages at the various festival marketplaces throughout the park.

I really hope that you're able to experience Walt's apartment on your trip and make magical memories while you are in town. Wishing you a fantastic day, and if anything else comes up feel free to drop us another line

    Magic awaits!
