What is the duration of the Pirates and Pals Fireworks voyage? We are staying May 20-26 at AKL and when looking for times I selected 5/21 @ 8:30PM. I would like to plan accordingly, just don't want the 6 y/o to be overly exhausted! Thanks for your help!

    Ashley,

The total experience takes around 2 hours. We did this when my oldest daughter was about 6 years old as well. While she was ready for bed when we got back to our resort, it was a great experience, and it did not run too long for her, or her younger sister. The party at the start was not that big of a deal for us, so while you do want to arrive in time to get your pictures taken with the characters, don't feel the need to arrive extra early.

The boat ride is so entertaining and scenic that your 6 year old (as well as yourselves) will be more than adequately entertained and distracted. Wishes is at 10 that night, and it is a 12 minute show. So after it is over they will head back to the dock. This makes a end time of 10:30 pm to 10:45 PM realistic. I don't doubt that when it is over you will be ready to head back to your resort for the evening, but you will love the experience!

One final note. In all our family trips together to Walt Disney World, my wife to this day says that the pirate cruise hosts have been the best Disney Cast Member Characters she ever encountered!

Write me back if you have any follow up questions.

    Have a magical vacation!
