We are due to visit in June/July 2016, my daughter will be 15 when we travel and will be 16 in August, we have the Disney Dining Plan can you advise if she will be classed as an adult or will she have to order kids meals?

Hi, Cara!  For the purposes of most things at Walt Disney World - tickets and the dining plan especially - children are counted only as being between the ages of three and nine years old.  Once a child reaches the age of 10, they are counted as an adult.

This sounds like it's going to be great news for your daughter!  She will not have to order from the children's menu when you go to eat.  If, however, there is something on the children's menu that appeals to her more, they may be able to accommodate her with an adult sized portion.

Happy eating on your upcoming vacation!
