Due to unforeseen circumstances our Disney budget has been cut.....ALOT. Can you give me some tips on how to still make this vacation AMAZING?(tickets, hotel & flight already payed for) We have char. ADR for TH, Ohana, CM,CP. DO NOT want give up these.

    Heather,

Don't fret. You can still do Disney on a budget, and the experience will be no less thrilling!

So my first advice is to find things that you are paying extra for, and see which you can replace or cut outright. While experiences like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are fantastic, perhaps you do the makeover yourself in your hotel room, saving a bundle and creating a special moment in the process. Write me with any things you have on your spending budget like this and I can suggest replacements.

Second you can look at your dining to save money. Some obvious swaps are moving from the more costly Hoop Dee Doo Review to the Whispering Canyon Cafe. You still get great food and entertainment in a similar theme, but save over $110 for a family of four. If you write me back with your planned meals, I can recommend some similar swaps.

Finally, snacks. Sure, there are great snacks at Walt Disney World. But pack your own for days at the park and save a ton. Bring water bottles and fill them up along the way and you save a lot more. I would guess a family of four, dependent upon how they would have snacked otherwise, could see savings of over $50 per day. No kidding.

So write me back with some info on where you think your spending is going to hit (in particular, meals and snacks) and I can come up with more exact recommendations!

    Have a magical vacation!
