We’re due to be staying at WDW from July 8th-22nd 2025. On the ‘plan my day’ option on the MDE app it’s telling me that for the entire duration of our stay MK will be shutting at 7pm, same for HS. Any ideas why?

Hi Jessica! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your great question.

I am so excited to hear that you'll be visiting my favourite holiday destination - Walt Disney World, this Summer! My family will be visiting just a couple of weeks after you and we are already counting down the days until we arrive.

Jessica, I just had a look at the "Plan Your Day" feature in my own My Disney Experience app for the dates of your stay and you are absolutely right in saying that it shows both the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios as closing at 7:00pm each day.

Park Hours are generally released 60 days in advance on the Walt Disney World website and the My Disney Experience app. To find them on the app, scroll down on the opening page until you see the hours for today's date (this is usually located underneath the details of your upcoming resort reservation) and click on "All Hours". From here, you can view the available park hours. As of right now, the Park Hours are only available to view for dates up to and including 30th April 2025.

I would recommend that you start checking the Park Hours section of the Walt Disney World website or My Disney Experience app at the end of April/beginning of May to see what the park hours will be for the dates of your stay.

I hope that this has answered your question, Jessica. Please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further help with the planning of your trip.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
