Hello Deborah!
Welcome back to
planDisney! It's great to see a fellow friend from Maryland here. Thanks for sending another great question our way. You must be so excited that your Walt Disney World adventure is just around the corner. I've attended meetings at
Disney's BoardWalk Inn's convention center, and it's a lovely facility. Please work and play hard during your stay! Let's discuss how you can assist your family while they enjoy the theme parks during your conference.
I'm happy to share that you can manage return times for
Disability Access Service for your family, even from your convention room. When you pre-register for Disability Access Service, make sure to include yourself in the party. Any member of a DAS party can book a return time for the entire group, but only the Guest registered for DAS is required to be present and experience the attraction when the return time is redeemed. Ten minutes after your family has redeemed a return time, you can make their next selection, so your husband should send you a message when it's time to book their next attraction.
I hope this is helpful, Deborah. To better understand all current accessibility services available in Walt Disney World, I recommend reviewing
this page and downloading
this handy guidebook before your family's visit. Thanks again for coming to see us at planDisney. Best wishes for a wonderful stay at Disney's BoardWalk Inn, and while you're there, enjoy a specialty latte for me at
Carousel Coffee!
Have a magical day,
Betsy
