Hello. We are due to go to Florida in 61 days. Do I need to book my two weeks of which parks we will be visiting on day 60 or can you just turn up to the park on any day and get in? We are staying at a Disney resort.

Hi there, Lyndsey! Welcome to planDisney!

Can you believe you're only a couple of months away from your vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth? I'm so excited for you! And it sounds like you've picked a Disney Resorts Collection hotel to call "home" during your stay. This is a great way to stay immersed in the magic from the time you wake up until the moment your head touches the pillow for some Sleeping Beauty rest at night. And don't forget about all of the resort hotel benefits available to you!

Lyndsey, I'm happy to let you know that you're able to make your theme park reservations with the Disney Park Pass system at your earliest convenience! This is an important step to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip, so you'll absolutely want to make these reservations before you arrive. As some dates can get booked up in advance, take a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar! Then, 60 days prior to your check-in date, you're able to make your advance dining reservations for the length of your trip (up to 10 days). Dining experiences can create really special moments at Walt Disney World Resort, from the delicious meals to the magical atmosphere. Some of my favorites are Tusker House Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park, and Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in EPCOT!

I'd also recommend taking some time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app before you arrive! This app feels a little like holding your own magic wand in your hand. You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, access virtual queues, and even mobile order food at select locations! This is a great way to minimize waits and maximize the fun.

If you have any other questions, please write to us again, Lyndsey! After all – you've got a friend in me.

    See ya real soon!
