Hey there, hi there, Stephanie! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney.
Eeeek! In just
days, you'll be arriving at one of my very favorite Resorts to embark on your magical adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth. With its tropical vibes, fantastic dining options, oh-so-fun pool area and location right on the hub of the Disney Skyliner,
Disney's Carribean Beach Resort is the perfect, peaceful home away from home right in the middle of the magic. Your pixie-dusted home will need some groceries, so let's chat about delivery and storage.
I think you will be happy to hear that
Bell Services will have no issues holding your groceries (even cold items) for you until you arrive, even if you are arriving late. On a recent trip, I had groceries delivered to my Resort on arrival day and forgot to pick up my refrigerated items when I picked up my groceries from Bell Services. It wasn't until later on our second day that I realized my mistake, and my groceries were still being held by Bell Services the next day with no problem.
The only things that Bell Services will not be able to accept and hold for you are alcoholic beverages, as someone 21 or over will have to be present to show the delivery driver a photo ID. So, if you'd like to place a grocery order for some adult beverages, just do so on your second day when you will be at the Resort to accept the delivery.
Speaking of adult beverages,
Banana Cabana is one of my very favorite spots in all of Walt Disney World to grab a poolside cocktail and some delicious food. It is truly a hidden waterside gem right at your Resort, and nothing will transport you to the Caribbean faster than a fabulous fruity drink and delicious Jamaican Jerk Wings. Enjoy!
I hope this was helpful, Stephanie, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable time! Please feel free to stop by any time with any planning questions you may have.
Life is da bubbles,
Mandy
