DH, 2DS(8&6) going to MNSSHP on a day MK has EMH 8-9am & want dinner at Ohana. Plan is to do MK for a couple of hours, go back to hotel & rest & have dinner around 5. Is this a good idea, don't want to miss any of the party or be too tired?

    Hi Tara,

My family loves Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!! We love the costumes and the special treats!

As for your family if it is too much, you have to know. My number one tip is to stick to your family's schedule. This means avoiding early mornings into the parks if they do not like waking up early. For us, it means no super dooper late nights as we are too cranky the next day and my kids are 16 and 14!

This does not mean we do not go to the special events or stay out late. We balance. So for my family, we would not go to the Extra Magic Hours on this day (we rarely go to the early morning ones). We would enter the park by 10 and stay until the party. Or we might skip a park that day and hang at the pool.

I do love the idea of leaving the parks for dinner as it is a nice break.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
