Where can I drop off teens without parkin

'Sup, Melissa, welcome to planDisney where we slay! Sorry, that's all the hip teen jargon I've got. No cap! Now I'm done. I promise! Looks like you're heading to Walt Disney World Resort soon, so let's talk about dropping your young people off at the theme parks.

When you arrive at any theme park's main entrance gate, you'll tell the attendant that you are not going to park, and they will direct you toward the drop-off area. You'll follow signs that sometimes indicate the rideshare area, which is typically the same spot as the guest drop-off.

The exact location of these zones can change from day to day depending on parking availability, but they're typically pretty close to the theme park entrances. At Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, my husband recently dropped me off at the rideshare area to the right of the entrance. It was a quick stroll to security!

EPCOT's drop-off spot is a bit further, but still an easy walk. Guests will walk toward the left; just head to the Spaceship Earth geodesic sphere! Signage at Disney's Hollywood Studios typically directs you to an area near the bus depot.

Magic Kingdom Park has a unique drop-off procedure. From the main gate, you'll be directed to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), which is the parking lot for Magic Kingdom. Follow the signs for guest drop-off, and after the kids go through the security checkpoint, they'll hop aboard the monorail or ferryboat to the Magic Kingdom entrance. Unique AND fun!

When your crew has had their fill of magical pixie dust, you can pick them up where you dropped them off. Easy-peasy. Do kids still say that?

My son used to love going to Disney's Hollywood Studios independently because many attractions there often offer a single-rider queue with potentially shorter wait times. Tell your teens to check for that option at Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. They can hang together in line, but they'll probably be separated for the actual experience.

Melissa, I hope you find some time for Disney magic yourself during your visit. The teens can't be the only ones vibin'. Oops, I did it again; sorry! I'll sign off now, but please stop by planDisney anytime. Peace out!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
