Welcome to planDisney, Kimberly! We are glad you brought your question to us today.
It is great to hear you are already thinking about your transportation options for your visit this fall. At nearly 44 square miles, getting around Walt Disney World Resort does require some planning and forethought.
Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are very popular in the Orlando area. I have used rideshare quite a bit during my visits. It is a convenient alternative to renting a car. You'll be happy to know that there are designated drop-off/pick-up areas at each theme park and
Disney Springs. At
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park,
EPCOT, and
Disney's Hollywood Studios your driver will drop you close to the front entrance of the park. For
Magic Kingdom Park, the drop-off area is at the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there take the
monorail or
ferry to the front of the park.
Don't forget to take into account
parking fees when making your decision. There is an overnight parking fee for Guests staying at
Disney Resort Hotels. Standard theme park parking for Disney Resort Hotel Guests is complimentary.
I hope that helps! Please feel free to visit plan Disney again with any additional questions you may have. Enjoy your visit!
