We are Driving to WDW in mid April for 6days/5 nights. We are wondering if anyone can help us with a packing list. 2 young girls (9-5) and 2 adults. None of us have ever been so don't know if ill be under/over packing. thanks so much

    Hi Monica,

My first suggestion to you is to check the weather forecast about 3 days before your trip. Even if you start packing early (I always do), you'll want to make refinements based on the actual weather you'll be experiencing on your trip.

My second suggestion is to perhaps under pack, just a little. There are guest laundry facilities at all of the Disney World resort hotels. And, more importantly, you're probably going to want to leave room in your suitcase for some souvenirs :-) Also, even if you forget something, it can almost always be replaced at Walt Disney World.

Next, I'm going to point you over to an article at an independent website called touringplans.com (full disclosure - I wrote the article) called "Trip Planning 101: Packing for Your Walt Disney World Vacation." To find this, go to the menu tab that says "More touring plans" then go to "the blog" then search for the article.

You'll find a downloadable packing checklist there as well as many tips for things that might need, or not need, during your vacation.

Your girls are great ages to experience Walt Disney World. Have a wonderful visit!
