Hi! We are driving in from Tx the last week of May! What time can we check into Paradise Pier and what temps can we expect??

Howdy Holly (from your fellow Texan)!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I attended college in California so I've made that drive a handful of times. I hope the miles fly by for your family to get to the Happiest Place on Earth as quickly as possible!

Coming from Texas, where it can pretty much be hot summer temps by April, I think you'll find the temperatures the last week of May to be practically perfect, as Mary Poppins would say! The highs usually are around the mid 70's with lows in high 50's in the evening. I'd bring a light sweatshirt or jacket as you may find you'll need it at night, but in the California sunshine you'll find the days to be beautiful!

For checking in to Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, you can check in at any time during the day and Bell Services can hold your luggage if you'd like to begin your park time or visit the Downtown Disney District. Rooms are available after 3 PM and check out is by 11 AM.

I hope this helps in planning your upcoming visit! Please come back and visit again if you have any further questions.
