    Driving to Port Canaveral. Plan tp park at terminal.. Cruise document says it will not open until 11. Will there be a ton of people trying to park at the same? Our time to enter the terminal is 11:30 AM. Husband doesn't get stuck in traffic jam.

    Great question!  I completely understand not wanting to start your relaxing vacation with a traffic jam at the port!  Since not all Guests will arrive by car, the wait should not be long to get into the parking deck at 11:00. If it would be easier, your husband also has the option to drop off the family and luggage at the curb and then park the car.  The most "traffic" you will experience will most likely be in the cruise terminal itself.  11:00 is usually the busiest time to arrive so the wait might be a little longer once you get through security.  But, the Disney Cruise Line terminal is a gorgeous and spacious facility, and there is plenty to do while you wait to board.  Make sure to have your camera handy because there are some great photo ops available.  At the far end of the building, there is an observation deck for your first up close look at the ship.  Captain Mickey or members of his crew might also be out and about to sign autographs and take pictures!  I also always have a carry-on with snacks and  "things to do" for the kiddos just in case!  Before you know it you will be walking up the gangway and ready to begin your magical vacation!
