We will be driving up from St Pete Sunday and plan to get there around the time of the castle lighting ceremony. Is there any place where our 4 y/o daughter would be able to get a good view from the car of the castle as it is lit before we check in?

    Hi Eric,

The Magic Kingdom Castle lighting ceremony is truly magical to watch but can only really be seen from inside the park. You can catch a glimpse of it from the beach at the Polynesian but it is very far away so does not offer a good view. There is no way of viewing it whilst in your car.

What I suggest you do is plan to watch the ceremony from Main Street USA when you visit Magic Kingdom and watch your daughters face as it happens. I'm sure her face will be priceless so remember to take some photos of her as well as the castle!

    Have a fantastic trip,

    Jo
