We are driving to MK. At the end of the day, we are having dinner at Whispering Canyon. What is the best transportation options? After MK, go to car and drive to WC? If not, best way to get to WC directly from MK and then best way WC to MK parking?

Hi Karen and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You’re in for a treat! Whispering Canyon Café is one of my favorite places to eat at the Walt Disney World Resort!

When it comes to getting to your dinner reservation, you have a few options. You can drive your car, or you can take a ferry from the Magic Kingdom Park to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. You can find the water taxi right in front of the Magic Kingdom Park. It will take you to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and it can bring you back to the park entrance where you can use the monorail or ferryboat to get back to the Transportation and Ticket Center at the end of the night.

The boat routes run on 15 to 30-minute intervals so you won’t have a problem getting to your reservation on time. They will also run for an hour after the park closes.

I really enjoy the boat rides to the resorts and if the timing is right, you may be able to catch the Electrical Water Pageant – Magic Kingdom. The 15-minute display of twinkling lights and music can be seen at the resort at 9:30 p.m. and depending on the night, you may also be able to catch the Happily Ever After firework spectacular just before or right after the pageant!

Oh, during your dinner I highly recommend the bottomless milkshakes! The caramel is delicious. You also shouldn’t be without all the necessary condiments on your table, so make sure to ask your server for some ketchup. (You’ll thank me later!)

Karen, I hope this information is helpful to you! Have a magical visit!
