    Hi! We are driving to DW. I have MBs and understand that I can go straight to the parks without checking into the resort hotel first. Will we be able to park at our resort and take Disney Transportation without checking in? If not, what do you suggest?

    You can certainly park at the resort prior to check in, with no problem. The front gate security staff will have information that you are checking in that day, so you should be able to do so without issue.

    You can also take Disney transportation without checking in. That has never been a matter for concern, and they never check if someone is a resort guest on the buses, boats, or monorails.

    However, I would suggest to you that if you can go ahead and check in when you arrive at the resort, I would do so. The bands are still a new program, a work in progress to be sure. If it does not look like it will be a long wait, I think you will be glad you did. Why? Well if there are problems, you want them sorted out right away. It would be no fun to get on a bus to a park, only to have to hop back on that bus back to your resort to fix things if there were any issues. 

    But the bottom line is that if they say you don't have to check in before heading to the parks, you should be good to go with your plan here.
