We are driving down from SC in Nov. for our 1st Disney cruise on the Dream and I am wondering about parking. Is there somewhere safe to park at the ship terminal or do we need to stay at a hotel we can park at? Also, how is the weather in Nov?

    Hi BJ!

Its great to hear from a fellow South Carolinian! Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel and asking me a question! Its exciting to hear that you are planning your first cruise! I'm just a bit jealous that you are going to experience the Dream!

Personally, I have always elected to leave our car at the Disney terminal. My feeling is that this area is the safest as it has controlled access and is not a high traffic area (since people are typically entering and leaving only when ships arrive and depart), whereas, hotel parking lots can be high traffic at any hour of the day. Plus, I like the convenience of having a vehicle right at the port. It makes it much easier to load and unload luggage into your own car rather than using hotel shuttles.

November is a wonderful time to vacation! Typically, the Bahamas are still warm and the water is even more beautiful! Hurricanes are normally over by this point as well and hopefully the storms will be over for the year!

Enjoy your trip! Hope you have a trip where all your Dreams come true!
