We will be driving down, a 16 hour drive to get to Disney. I plan on ordering tote bags and autograph books and ear hats for the kids, making a car "goody bag" of Disney items. Any suggestions on other items I can put in the bags that are useful

Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Melisa!  We're glad you're hEAR!  What a great idea to make "goody bags" for your road trip to Disney! I love surprising my children on our Disney Vacations as well!  I think you are off to a great start!  I would also recommend a Disney D.V.D. for each of the children to enjoy watching on the ride down to Orlando. Other items that we have surprised our children with include sunglasses, pens for the autograph books, disposable cameras, and snacks for the ride. I love theming and you can often find Disney themed fruit chews and CHEEZ-IT baked snack crackers makes a Cars themed snack pack. Depending on the ages of your children, you may consider Disney coloring or activity books for the ride or if they are a little older a Disney themed D.S. game may be more appropriate. Another great suggestion is to give the children their own Disney Gift Card for purchasing a special souvenir, while on vacation. These can be purchased online or at your local Walgreens.  I hope I have given you a few suggestions that will work for your kids!  Please write back if I can answer any other questions for you! Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Melisa!
    Happy Traveling,
