We will be driving down the day before our cruise that sets sail on 2/2/14. Any suggestions on where to stay in Miami and eat that night (Sat)? Will be 4 adults and 2 DD (6 and 2). How close are the hotels to the Port of Miami? Thank you for all your help!

    Hi Connie!
Driving down the day before your cruise is one of my top tips for Disney Cruise Line Guests!  It is always nice to start your vacation a little early and enjoy a stress-free departure morning!
The Intercontinental Miami is a high sky rise hotel that overlooks the Biscayne Bay that is conveniently located just minutes from the Port of Miami.  It is within walking distance to the Bayside Marketplace (www.BaysideMarketplace.com) which is an open air shopping area and great spot to grab a bite to eat on Saturday night.  When you awake Sunday morning, you will be greeted by a stunning view of the Disney Wonder!  I can't think of a better wake-up call for your two princesses!
Have a look at the hotel and marketplace's websites and if you need other recommendations, please let me know!  I'll be happy to continue to sprinkle pixie dust on your wondrous voyage, Connie!
I hope to hear from you again real soon!
