Hi. We are driving to FL and doing a few things before our cruise. Would it be better to drive ourselves to port canaveral or can we be picked up by the Disney Bus? And if we ride the bus, is it ok to leave our car at the resort? How much does it cost?

    Ahoy Amy!
Welcome back to the Moms Panel!  This is another great question, and I'm happy to provide you with some transportation advice for your upcoming voyage!
My family usually drives to Port Canaveral and parks at the Disney Cruise Line terminal.  The lot is conveniently located right next to the terminal building and offers a secure, safe, covered spot while you cruise, and curbside luggage drop off is available. Parking fees vary from $60.00 to $120.00 depending on how many nights you will be out to sea.
Disney Cruise Line transportation does run round-trip from all the resorts to the port, and currently, round-trip vouchers are $70 per person.
Since you will have your car, I recommend driving yourself to the port.  Once your sailing is over, you can disembark and be on your way without having to detour back to the Walt Disney World Resort.  Porters will be available to assist you to your car with your luggage as well!
I hope this helps, Amy! Thank you so much for continuing to use the Moms Panel for all your cruise plans!
Please let me know if you think of anything else!
    Have a magical day!
