Hi Janet,
Vacation is usually a time to relax a bit and not worry about getting dressed up, unless of course that's something you
want to do! You'll find that at most places around the Walt Disney World Resort, shorts and t-shirts are completely acceptable. Most people at most locations will be wearing
casual resort attire. However, with that said, there are a few Signature Style restaurants that do have a special dress code. I'd encourage you to read the
answer that I gave a Guest earlier this year about which restaurants have special requirements for attire so that you may plan accordingly in case you have plans to dine at any of those locations.
Speaking of dining, did you know that you'll be able to make reservations 180 days in advance? If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you'll be able to make
dining reservations for the entire length of your stay, up to ten days, at that 180-day point. Some restaurants are quite popular and fill up super quickly, so I'd encourage you to either make your reservations
online beginning as early as 5:45 a.m. Eastern time or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 beginning at 7:00 a.m. Eastern time 180 days ahead of time.
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Janet, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
Missy
