The dress code for Monsieur Paul indicates "Not permitted are tank tops, flip-flops, . . ." so just to be 100% certain for our reservation I will be wearing Shirt with Collar (is Golf shirt OK?) and running shoes (please confirm these ok?).

Bonjour David! Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. It looks like your trip countdown is in the single digits!

Monsieur Paul is an award-winning restaurant that serves classic French cuisine- you almost forget your sitting in the middle of a theme park! The setting is certainly more upscale than it's sister restaurant, Chefs de France. Since this is a Signature dining experience, there is a dress code that goes along with it. When I dined here last year, I packed a nice sundress in my theme park bag and changed before my reservation. However, many Guests dining here were still in their Park attire. You can be assured that a golf shirt, khaki shorts, and running shoes will be perfectly acceptable!

One of my favorite details of this restaurant are the black and white photographs of the Bocuse family lining the walls (Paul Bocuse was the legendary French chef who Monsieur Paul is named for).  A roving server will come to your table with deliciously warm French bread, but try to save room for the main course! The Black Sea Bass is a personal favorite, and it's plated with crunchy potato scales. Dessert should not be skipped at Monsieur Paul, and they are well known for their Milk Chocolate Sphere which literally melts before your eyes!

I hope you have a fabulous meal, David! Bon appétit!
