Ahoy, Sherri!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you're finding the site helpful with your cruise planning! As you prepare for your magical voyage, it's always important to be informed on
what kind of attire to pack for evenings in the beautifully themed main dining rooms. Disney Cruise Line recommends cruise casual clothing with no tank tops or swimsuits permitted. On the shorter cruises, there will be an optional dress-up night offered. On the longer cruises, a semi-formal and formal night will be planned. There are also themed nights scheduled for select sailings such a
Pirate Night. Guests are encouraged to dress up in their pirate garb like the Disney Characters and crew members onboard!
I typically dress in comfortable sundresses or skirts and coordinating tops with my son and husband in either khaki pants or nice khaki shorts with a button-down or polo type shirt for the cruise casual nights. We like to dress-up for the more formal nights because I love being able to take a nice family picture in the Grand Lobby Atrium. You'll see everything from tuxedos and fancy gowns to cruise casual on these evenings.
As for drink packages, Disney Cruise Line only offers the Classic and Premium Wine Packages as well as the Imported or Domestic 6-pack beer packages. You can browse these options in the
Gifts and Amenities Section of the Disney Cruise Line website.
Thank you for continuing to use the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sherri! Please keep us posted on any additional questions.
Have a magical day!
