What is the dress code for Cinderella's Royal Table, dinner service?

    Hi Veronica,

There are dress codes for a few of the restaurants at Walt Disney World, but the Royal Table is not one of them.

There is no specific dress code for dining at Cinderella's Royal Table. Since this restaurant is located within the theme park, you can wear whatever you would wear to visit the park on a normal day. Most of the adult diners will be wearing jeans or shorts and tee shirts. Sneakers, flip flops, or whatever else you'd have on your feet are also OK.

There is absolutely no dress-up requirement for children. However, you will see that about half of the girls ages 2 to about 8 will be wearing princess attire for their meal in the castle. This could be a gown purchased at Walt Disney World or something brought from home. A few older girls and a very few boys might also be in costume, but this is less common. If you do decide to have a child dress up, consider whether she will want to wear a hot ballgown all day and possibly bring a change of clothing. Another alternative is to just wear a wig or crown.

I've dined with my family many times at the Royal Table. I always wore shorts and a sweater (I get cold in airconditioning). My three daughters never wore a costume, and never felt out of place. The choice is really up to you.

Good luck with your planning and please let us know if you have additional questions.
