Welcome aboard, Victoria! I'm glad you're reviewing the dining attire for dinners that DCL suggests, as it will help you plan what to pack before you head off on your magical cruise!
When you have breakfast and lunch, the attire is much more casual, and at the buffets, it's not uncommon to see folks in swimsuits and cover-ups. At the main dining restaurants for breakfast and lunch, cruise casual is perfect.
If you choose to make brunch reservations at Palo, however, you will need to follow their strict dress code.
Palo is Disney Cruise Line's Adult Exclusive restaurant, and dining there requires men to wear dress pants and a shirt or jacket, and women to wear a dress or pantsuit. I highly recommend dining at Palo for brunch on one of your sea days or dinner any night of your cruise. It's a wonderful experience.
Have fun planning the rest of your cruise, Victoria! Let me know if I can help you with anything else as you continue planning!
