    Hi dreaming and planning, which resort is better Yacht or Beach club? Interested in quick service for meals and possibly a sit down, the pool area looks amazing and the location to both Epcot and DHS is very appealing. Thanks :)

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to assist you with this question! You are choosing between two of my favorite places to stay when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort are sister properties and share many amenities and recreational activities. Stormalong Bay is my favorite pool on property, and I love the close proximity to both Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot. In regards to dining locations, we primarily use Beach Club Marketplace and Hurricane Hanna's Waterside Bar and Grill for Quick-Service meals and Beaches and Cream Soda Shop is our "must do" Table-Service meal. Being a short walk from Disney's BoardWalk is another perk of this resort location. 

    Although I don't think you can go wrong with either choice, my family would give a slight edge to Disney's Beach Club Resort as we find the atmosphere to be more relaxed for little ones, and we prefer the classic seaside theming a little more. I must admit, we rarely let a summer pass without a trip to Disney's Beach Club Resort as a family. That being said, if I were coming with just my husband or with girlfriends, I would probably choose Disney's Yacht Club Resort.
