Welcome aboard, Nichole! Your summer is going to be one for the memory books with your exciting sailing aboard the Disney Dream!
My kids will tell you that the
Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are THE places to be onboard the Dream for six and nine year-olds! Whether your girls are climbing through the Slinky Dog tunnel in Andy's Room, doing crafts with fairy friends in Pixie Hollow, challenging each other to games in the Disney Infinity Game Room, or piloting the Millennium Falcon, there is never a chance to be bored in the Oceaneer Club! Add to that the fun activities like Super Sloppy Science, Anyone Can Cook, Pluto's Pajama Party, or one of the many other events that go on all day and night, and your girls are not going to want to leave!
But, when they do want to venture out of the clubs and head out to explore the rest of the ship, they're only a phone call or text away. All guests receive two
Wave Phones in their stateroom, which can be used to call and text around the ship and at Castaway Cay. But, even easier than those is simply downloading the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to your mobile devices before you arrive at port. Once onboard, you can not only access the menus, activity schedule, ship maps, and more, but also have a way to text through the app (and use fun Disney emoji's) to keep in touch with each other onboard. The counselors in the Youth Clubs will text you when your girls are ready to go, either on your Wave Phone or through the App. You cannot call them in the clubs unless they have a Wave Phone with them, or a mobile device to text through the app, but you are always welcome to stop down to the clubs to check in on them.
Have such fun, Nichole!
