Welcome aboard, planDisney! You are getting so close to your cruise on the
Disney Dream next week. It's always fun to celebrate when the countdown is in the single digits.
As you start to
pack all the cruise essentials, I'm sure you're finalizing your attire for Pirate Night! This is always such a spirited night onboard as everyone gets decked out in their eye patches, red bandanas, and golden jewels for the festivities. I always love to see all the creative ways Guests dress on this evening. On your sailing, you can expect
Pirate Night to be on Day Two, although this is always subject to change. Once you arrive at the cruise terminal next week, you can check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for all the activities and events planned. Once you open up the app, select Explore, and you can navigate to Day Two at the very top of the page. If you see a pirate-themed game, trivia, character experience, craft, or deck party you'd like to experience, favorite or heart it so you'll receive a reminder 15 minutes before it begins. The Buccaneer Blast (weather permitting), a fireworks spectacular in the middle of the ocean, usually takes place around 10:30 pm. Be sure to arrive early for pre-firework festivities and to get a good view of the starboard side of the ship, as this is where the fireworks will light up the sky! My pirate crew always likes to head up to Deck 12 to mark our spot for the event.
