Hi we are going on the Dream October and we have are booked for Category 7A: Decks 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9; enclosed verandah with limited views. Any idea what the limited view will be? We wanted views and open area will this be worth it? Thanks :)

    Ahoy, Stacey!

You have asked some excellent questions about your upcoming Disney Cruise! It can be a bit overwhelming to cruise for the first time, so we are so glad to be able to assist you with your plans.

The stateroom you booked on the Disney Dream does have a verandah with a partially enclosed opening with a metal overhang. The view is considered obstructed because of the metal overhang, and since the railing is not the see through plexiglass. When you are standing at the railing, you'll be able to look out to enjoy your views, but will not have that vantage point when you are sitting down especially if you are short like me! I've cruised in a Category 7A before and was not bothered with the limited views. It's really a personal preference, but I think it's nice to have the option to go outside and enjoy the fresh air regardless of the verandah type. There is still enough space for two chairs and a small table just like other verandah options.

I hope this helps, Stacey! We thank you for continuing to use the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Have a "Dream"y day!
