Ahoy, Amy!
A land and sea adventure with a stay at
Disney's Pop Century Resort and a cruise on the gorgeous
Disney Dream sounds like an amazing vacation for your crew this fall! It will be a double dose of pixie dust come November!
'Ohana is one of my favorite restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort so you have my month watering thinking about the Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch! I think a feast here the morning of your departure is a great idea especially since you'll get to see some of your favorite Disney Friends while you dine! Disney Cruise Line's ground transportation is typically scheduled for late morning (think 11:00 a.m. or after) to early afternoon, but there is no way to know your exact pick-up time until the day prior to your departure. Breakfast at 'Ohana begins at 7:30 a.m., so I think you'll be safe if you plan an early time so you are not rushed. All the details about your pick-up will be included in a letter delivered to your resort room the day before you leave, so there will be no surprises on departure morning. Luggage pick-up is always scheduled for 8:00 a.m., but the good news is that you do not have to be present for pick-up. Just leave everything you want delivered to the ship by the door with the Disney Cruise Line luggage tags attached. You'll want to keep out your proof of citizenship, medications, cruise documents and anything else like bathing suits and sunscreen that you might want or need the first afternoon. Just place everything you need in a day bag, which does not have to be tagged.
Amy, I hope your 'ohana has the most magical time on your vacation this November. If you think of any additional questions, please let us know!
