We are going on the Dream in March and I have heard that the kids are given "phones" so we can reach them, but I am unable to find any information about this on the website. Can you provide more details?

    Ahoy Aurora!
Your family will be sprinkled with pixie dust from the moment you stop foot on the spectacular Disney Dream next March!  It will definitely be a magical vacation filled with many special moments that can only be created onboard the happiest cruise line on the high seas!
Disney Cruise Line does provide two wavephones per stateroom (more can be rented for an additional charge).  These phones can be used to call and text each other, other wavephones, and phones in the facilities onboard.  My husband and I usually carry the phones with us because there is a $250 charge if the phone is damaged or lost.  My daughter is now 11 so I may let her have a phone on our next sailing, but in the past our kids have either been with us or in the Oceaneer Club/Lab so there was really no need for them to keep up with one.
I hope my answer provides clarification, Aurora!  If you have other questions, please let me know!
    Have a magical day!
