We are going on the Dream 4/28. Husband and I are both runners and would like to run the Castaway Cay 5k. Our son is only 5. Will we be able to bring him to Scuttles Cove just for the race?

    Ahoy Theresa!
As a fellow runner, I love that Disney Cruise Line offers the Castaway Cay 5K for cruise Guests. My husband and I actually both ran on our last cruise so we had to utilize Scuttle's Cove as well.  The night before you arrive on Castaway Cay, you will see the directions for the sign-up time for the race as well as the actual start time in your cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator.  If the sign-up is on the ship, you will want to take your son with you to put your name on the list and pick-up your official RunDisney bib.  Let the Castmember know that you will need to go ahead and disembark the ship to drop your son off at Scuttle's Cove before the race.  You will have plenty of time to sign him in and make it the starting line (located at the Bike Rentals stand) before the rest of the group arrives.  I actually had enough time to pick up a Castaway Cay 5K race shirt at the shop by the starting line, and I was glad I did because the sizes sell out quickly.  The castmember was happy to hold the shirt for me during the race.
I hope this helps, Theresa!  If you think of any other questions, please let me know!
Have a magical day and happy running!
