We are going on the Dream for our first Disney cruise and I know the alcohol policy is 2 bottles of wine OR 6 beers per person over the age of 21. I was wondering, is it the equivalent if I bring 1 bottle of wine as well as bring 3 beers for myself?

    Welcome aboard, Melissa!

Isn't it wonderful that Disney Cruise Line allows guests to bring a limited amount of their own favorite wine and beer onboard the ship? As you mentioned, guests are allowed to bring a maximum of two bottles of wine or six beers onboard at the beginning of the cruise and at each port of call. Since you're hoping to bring one bottle of wine and three beers, I believe that should be fine, since it is under the maximum, but the security team at the port will determine that as you go through. In addition, if you're traveling with other adults, you can split up your alcohol carry-on's between each of you. Just keep in mind that all alcohol must be carried onboard in a carry-on bag, and may not be checked in your luggage.

    Have a wonderful cruise!
