Ahoy Terry!
Celebrating a birthday onboard is always extra magical so I know your granddaughter Bella's special day will be just fabulous! If you haven't already, be sure her birthday is noted on your cruise reservation so that the dining servers can recognize her at dinner with a delicious birthday dessert and song! Also, you will want to stop by Guest Services upon boarding so she can pick up her "Happy Birthday" pin which she should wear throughout your sailing. Crew members and other Guests will make sure she receives lots of birthday wishes if she is wearing her button!
Another suggestion is to have a look at the special birthday
Celebration Packages that are offered in the Gifts and Amenities Section of the Disney Cruise Line website. I celebrated my last birthday at sea, and this festive package brightened each day I was on the ship! Birthday cakes are available for purchase on the website as well and must be ordered no later than seven days prior to sailing.
One last idea is to bring along an item such as a pillowcase, photo mat, or a wooden letter "B" that you can have signed by the characters free of charge. This item will be the perfect souvenir for your birthday girl to always remember her birthday at sea! Each stateroom is allowed to turn in two items to Guest Services to have signed, and you should place the items in a plastic bag labeled with your stateroom number and last name. Also include Sharpies of your color choice for the characters to sign the items, and they will be returned to you by the last night of your voyage!
I hope my suggestions are helpful, Terry! If you think of any other questions, please let me know!
Have a magical day and Happy Birthday to Bella!
