Dream cruise 11/24/13 followed by 5 nts AOA. Will we take our luggage with us off ship to resort on Disney transfer? First Disney cruise so not sure how it works. TY!

    Ahoy Francine!
You have a wonderful Disney adventure to look forward to this November, and I'm sure you are can't wait to experience your first magical voyage on the high seas!
I'll go ahead and warn you that cruising can become addictive and leaving the ship is never easy!  But, you are smart to plan a surf and turf vacation so disembarking will be a bit easier for your crew since you are heading to Disney's newest resort, the Art of Animation!
The night before the ship returns to Port Canaveral, you will place your luggage outside your stateroom door by 11:00pm (be sure to keep a small carry-on, important documents, and a change of clothes out).  The crew will carry your luggage off the ship for you once it docks and it will be waiting for you in a character-coded section of the terminal.  Once your family disembarks, you will claim your luggage and proceed through U.S. Customs.  After this, you will be ready to head to the Art of Animation and your luggage will be loaded on the same bus as your crew.
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question, Francine!  Please keep me posted as you continue to think of more questions!  I'm always happy to help!
    Have a magical day!
