Hi, Luciano! Thanks so much for designing a great question for us. My older daughter and I were able to take part in a "Teach to Draw" class at Disney's Art of Animation Resort last year. We had so much fun with the Resident Artist as he helped us learn to draw Nemo, our favorite explorer of the big, blue world.
I spoke with a wonderful Cast Member at Disney's Art of Animation Resort recently and am happy to report that these classes are still offered. All Walt Disney World Resort Guest are welcome to stop by and draw up some fun. You will find the classroom located within the children's playroom next to the front desk area. As its schedule may modify at any time, you may want to
stop by or call the Resort upon your arrival at Walt Disney World Resort to confirm each day's times. No need to bring your sketchbook and pencils, as supplies will be provided.
I have another little tip for you - when entering the Resort, look up at the Storyboard Chandelier that hangs in the lobby, just outside of the Ink & Paint Shop. It is filled with panels that depict various scenes of the movies represented at this Resort. I bet your little budding artist will love to see these panels and it may give her some ideas for future projects! Artist Josh Cooley and writer Robert Baird
stopped by recently to sign storyboard panels that now hang from this magnificent chandelier. So cool!
I hope this helps you while drawing up plans for your Disney adventure, Luciano. Please stop by again if you have any further questions. Have a magical day!
