Welcome aboard, Jeff! Are you excited to set sail soon with Disney Cruise Line? Besides amazing meals, you'll experience magical events and activities for everyone in the family from morning until night! I'm glad you're beginning to plan the details, including
dining attire!
If you're setting sail on one of Disney Cruise Line's ships for a seven-night sailing, you can expect to have a Formal Night, Semi-Formal Night,
Pirate Night, and the rest will be Cruise Casual. Your description of outfits sounds absolutely perfect for any night onboard. You will not be overdressed at all, even on Cruise Casual Nights. My husband usually wears khakis and a dress shirt each night of Cruise Casual nights, sometimes a polo shirt instead. My son wears the same. I usually wear a nice dress, skirt or dressy pair of capri pants on Cruise Casual nights. We wear dressier outfits, like suits for the guys and dressier dresses for my daughter and me, on Semi-Formal and Formal Nights. You may want to throw a pirate costume or simply a pirate accessory or two in your luggage to wear on Pirate Night, when the Cast Members and many, many guests will be wearing their swashbuckling best to enjoy this evening! All guests will receive a Mickey's Pirates IN the Caribbean bandana to wear that night too.
You'll see a wide variety of outfits in the restaurants, and believe me, you will fit in perfectly, Jeff. Have fun planning and please stop back if you have any other questions before you set sail. I'm happy to help!
