Ahoy Vanessa!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How fabulous that you will be cruising on the
Disney Wonder out of New Orleans next year. I am so excited for you!
You may be in the "Big Easy" but it doesn't make it easy to leave Captain Mickey on debarkation day! I'm not going to lie, a tear or two may be shed each time our family ends our Disney cruise.
It is a little easier if you utilize
Disney Cruise Line ground transportation between the airport and the cruise terminal. When you debark, find your coach waiting for you to arrive for your journey back to the airport. Load your luggage on the bus and it will arrive with you at the terminal. Full luggage transfer through the Onboard Airline Check-In service however are only available when sailing out of Port Canaveral or Miami.
To ensure you have enough time to catch your plane after you leave the ship, it is recommended you choose a return flight that leaves after 11:45 AM on your debarkation day.
Before you leave, be sure to catch the spirit of the bayou at
Tiana's Place. This
rotational dining venue is exclusive to the Disney Wonder and boasts the southern cooking and live jazz music making it the best party onboard!
Planning your vacation is easy! Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any other questions and we will help sprinkle your getaway with some pixie dust.
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
