Going to Downtown Disney on Sept 20th, would 3 hours be long enough?

The answer to this depends a bit on what exactly you're planning to do at Downtown Disney. There are dozens of shops and restaurants here as well as some small play areas for children. If you're planning on having a leisurely lunch and then shop till you drop, then no, three hours would not be enough. But if you want to poke around in the stores and maybe grab a quick sandwich or ice cream, then three hours should be fine.

Also bear in mind that there are more lengthy entertainment options at Downtown Disney including the AMC movie theater, the DisneyQuest indoor interactive arcade, and Cirque du Soleil. If you'd like to enjoy those activities you should budget more time.

    Hope this helps.
