    Is Downtown Disney really busy on Thanksgiving Day? Are all the parks decorated for Christmas the week before Thanksgiving ? Our arrivaldate is 11-19-11 . Laura

    Hi Laura,

    I love the Walt Disney World Resort at the holidays! The resorts take on a different feel which is filled with extra magic.

    The parks and resorts will start to be decorated right after Halloween. Every park and resort will be done prior to Thanksgiving Day except Magic Kingdom which will be transformed the night before.

    Downtown Disney will be busy because there is shopping and holiday presents to buy. Some stores will be busier than other days of the year. However, there is plenty of walking space and extra cast members on hand to help you with your purchases.
