We have a downs nephew who is 49. His mental age is about 4. His Dad passed in June this year. He asked us to take Mike to Disney for him. Question= Do you have a 4 seat motorized cart? I don't trust Mike to handle an amego and I'm too old to push him. :)

Hi, Paul!  Unfortunately, there are not four seat motorized carts available for rent at Walt Disney World.  It sounds like what you are describing is a golf cart of sorts, and I would think due to the size and the potential for injury, even if you could find an outside company to rent one, it would not be allowed into the theme parks.

I've done a quick check online, and there are two seat scooter type convenience vehicles on the market, but they are not available at Walt Disney World.  You may want to do a search on some of the Orlando area scooter rental places and see if anyone has a two seater to rent, and at least that might help fill your needs.

Is there another family member that might switch off with you in pushing a wheelchair?  Or perhaps you could enlist the aid of a younger family member that would be willing to come on vacation with you for the purposes of helping with Mike's transportation needs.

I hope that you get to enjoy a fabulous family vacation!
