Vikki,
Great question, and smart that you are thinking about preserving those great vacation pictures!
So based on your question I am assuming you are using the
Disney PhotoPass Service. There are two ways to go here. The first option, which my family uses on most trips, is the
Memory Maker package. That is the all-inclusive plan that means we get all the vacation pictures for one price, even including some special extra pictures that they toss on to your account. You can also just purchase pictures one at a time. If you are going to want a lot of pictures, the Memory Maker option is more cost effective. But on short weekend trips or adult getaways we might just go with that one-at-a-time approach.
In the case of buying just a few pictures I would go to the
Disney Photopass Gallery, where you can scan through your pictures and then purchase and download only what you want. If you went with the Memory Maker plan you can most easily get to them via your
My Disney Experience account. You will see part way down that main page a section titled "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets". The second tab is where you can add your Memory Maker purchases. From there you are directed to download instructions.
Please note that photos do expire 45 days after they are taken. Disney does a great job of sending out reminder e-mails, but I still like to put some alerts in my calendar so I don't miss out.
Have a Magical Vacation!
