When we had come down in 2008, they had the soap stars in Hollywood Studios, and it was a pain. Is there any way to know the schedule for the Hollywood Studios during 2013 so that we can book our vacation accordingly?

    Hi Danielle,

The Soap Stars weekend has been discontinued. Currently the main big weekend events at Disney's Hollywood Studios are Star Wars Weekends, which occur in the late spring, and ESPN the weekend, which is usually earlier in the spring. The 2012 ESPN weekend was cancelled, so I'm not sure about the future status of this.

A great source of information on this topic is the independent website They cover EVERYTHING about Disney's Hollywood Studios and have up-to-date information about special events and other out-of-the-ordinary happenings. If there's something new going on in 2013, they'll have the scoop.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
