We are going down to Disney the first week in August of this year, and I would like to know how many pins to take with us for each of our 2 girls for trading?

    Hi Jodi!

Bringing official Disney trading pins with you to Walt Disney World is a great idea! It definitely a great way to save some money too!

Before each of our Disney trips, I always pick up some extra pins for the kids. Its a great way to get them excited the trip. We usually use these pins as "traders": pins we don't intend to keep. That way, when we see a pin we've just got to have, we don't feel guilty about trading one we really love!

Usually I plan to have about 5 to 10 pins to trade for the trip, and I split these among two kids. If you're just getting into pin trading or want to do it just some occasional fun, I think its the perfect number. Too many pins on a lanyard usually means that we'll end up losing one or that Mom will end up carrying them, after they get too heavy!

Hope this helps! Be sure to let the Moms Panel know if we can help with any more of your trip planning details!
