we are going down to Disney from the December 19 until the January 3 and we wanted to know what other events or displays were the ones to see in the resorts. I have heard that they are wonderful and I wanted my family to have some days of exploration.

    Sara,

Holidays at Disney are especially magical.  I've actually just returned from the World myself and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful decor.

The Grand Floridian Resort has an incredible (and fully edible!) gingerbread house that is literally the size of a house.  It's in their resplendent lobby, and is actually home to a little holiday gift shop where you can purchase miniature replica gingerbread houses, gingerbread shingles, and other delectable holiday treats,  That resort tops my list of must-see holiday decor.

My second choice would be the Beach Club Resort, and the chocolate and gingerbread carousel.  It is amazing!  Beyond the sheer size of the undertaking (it's large enough for my children to ride), details like the 9 hidden mickeys it holds make this a definite winner.

All of the resorts are decorated for the holidays, but the deluxe resorts are especially grand.  I love the exotic tree in the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the rustic beauty of the Wilderness Lodge is also fantastic.  I think that you will enjoy all of the resorts you see, since each has something unique to offer.  I would try to visit as many as possible.

Also do not forget the Fort Wilderness Resort.  This would be great place to take a sleigh ride!
