We have a down day and would like to take water transportation, just for the fun of it, to go have the kitchen sink sundae! Staying at All-Star Sports and have our own vehicle. Is it possible and what is the best way? Love this site!! Thanks for the help!

The Kitchen Sink Sundae (a must-do for our family on every vacation) is served at the Beaches and Cream Soda Shoppe which is located at the walkway in between the Yacht & Beach Club resorts. There is no direct water transportation from the All Star Sports resort to the Yacht & Beach Club. You could just drive there, but if you want to have a bit more fun exploring the waterways of WDW, this is what I would do ...

Drive (or take the bus) from All Star Sports to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Just outside the entrance to DHS, there is a boat dock. Hop on the boat there, it will take you to the Swan and Dolphin hotels, and then the Yacht & Beach Club hotels. If you were to stay on the boat it would then go to the Boardwalk hotel and Epcot, then back to the Studios. The entire circle takes about 20-25 minutes. It is a very pleasant way to get around.

Once you're at the Yacht and Beach Club, you could rent a surrey bike to explore the Epcot resort area, or you could also rent mini power boats and explore the lake area from the water.

    Sounds like a great afternoon!
