Doug, you've been so great in answering previous ?'s about our upcoming trip in Feb.We just found out it's the ESPN event while we're there. How concerned should we be about the crowds that this will bring? We'll be there 2/20-28th. Planning HS on 21st. THX!

    Denise,

While the ESPN event does bring in some people, it is hardly some overwhelming sea of added guests. I would think of it less in terms of "How crowded will this make the parks?" and more in terms of "Are there any events that this special occassion brings that I would enjoy attending?".

In my past experience, there is no need to make significant adjustments based on this event. And of course this year it will be from the 25th to the 28th at Hollywood Studios. So it is not going to impact your day there on the 21st at all.

Make sure you check out all the activities at ESPN The Weekend by visiting the page on the Walt Disney World site. They don't tell you a lot about it there, but you will find a link to the event website that has much more information about what is going on. With some live telecasts, professional soccer games, and more, there really might be something you find of interest!

    Have a magical vacation!
