    Hi Doug, We're visiting WDW on Aug 16-19 with my husband and i with a 2 yo girl and 11yo boy. Should we visit Magic Kingdom first and should I purchase the tickets in advance? We're staying offsite (timeshare). Thanks!

    I think that just about anyone visiting Walt Disney World should make the Magic Kingdom their first visit! That just happens to be a good day for you to visit, as there are no Extra Magic Hours at that park that day that would cause the crowds to be abnormally large.

    As for purchasing the tickets in advance, I would only do it if you are a AAA member. There are a lot of dubious sources out there that will sell you a bill of goods, and you can't get much of a discount pre-purchasing any more. I would just get them at the gate, if I were in your shoes.
